Paws Pride Dog Walk Finds New Home at Bellevue Downtown Park, Returns June 1
The Paws & Pride Dog Walk returns for its second year on June 1, 2024, at Bellevue Downtown Park, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Organized by the Bellevue Downtown Association and Eastside Pride PNW, this event will feature a dog walk and various post-walk festivities, including a mimosa/beer garden, DJ Puma, and a costume contest with RuPaw and Drag Queen Gaysha Starr. Registration is open, and donations will benefit local nonprofits Seattle Humane and Lambert House. Presenting sponsor Symetra emphasizes community engagement and inclusion. The event will showcase booths from local pet-focused and LGBTQIA+ businesses, fostering belonging. Participants are encouraged to wear bright colors and pride-themed attire, with dogs being optional companions.
