Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink Celebrates 25 Years, Opens November 18

The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink is celebrating its 25th anniversary by opening on November 18, 2022, and remaining operational until January 8, 2023. Located in the scenic Bellevue Downtown Park, the rink features over 9,000 square feet of real ice, making it an ideal venue for holiday skating traditions. Visitors are encouraged to buy tickets in advance due to limited walk-up availability, with weekday tickets priced at $14 and weekend tickets at $17. Managed by the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA), the rink is open daily, including holidays, and includes amenities such as a covered viewing area and on-site concessions. Highlights of the season include free skate lessons for all ages on select evenings, courtesy of Microsoft. Special event days like the Ugly Sweater Skate and Apple Cup Skate Day will engage the community and enhance the festive atmosphere. BDA President Patrick Bannon stated that the rink brings the magic of skating to the entire Puget Sound region, inviting everyone to participate, regardless of their skating experience. Supported by prominent partners including Symetra, Amazon, and Microsoft, the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink continues to be a beloved holiday destination for families and friends.
