Business honoring murdered woman broken into in Lakewood, WA

Robert Cantrell's collectible store, Pacific Northwest Gaming and Collectibles, located in Lakewood, WA, was burglarized in a smash-and-grab incident on January 8, 2025, leading to an estimated loss of $6,500 to $7,000 in merchandise. The burglary, captured on surveillance video, shows a man breaking in through a window. This is not the first time the store has been targeted; it was previously burglarized in August, and Cantrell suspects the same individual may be responsible for both incidents. The store serves as a tribute to Cantrell's twin sister, Kassandra, who was tragically murdered while pregnant in 2020. In her memory, he provides free toys to children and organizes holiday events. Facing significant financial challenges due to a lack of insurance coverage for the losses, Cantrell is reaching out to the community for help in identifying the thief. The Lakewood Police are currently investigating the case but have not yet made any arrests.
