Jubilee REACH Empowers Students Families Across Bellevue
Jubilee REACH began in 2005 as a haven for elementary students in Bellevue and has since expanded to serve the broader community through various support initiatives. Their mission focuses on healing, community building, and transforming lives, which is reflected in their comprehensive programs funded by local donations and sponsorships. The annual Festival of Trees Gala is a significant fundraising event, attracting hundreds of attendees and raising substantial funds to support local families, demonstrating the community's commitment to philanthropy. The organization has implemented Site Coaches in 14 public schools, resulting in improved academic performance for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Jubilee REACH Thrift Store is another crucial resource, providing free clothing, furniture, and other essentials to families in crisis. In response to the pandemic, they launched the Groceries for Families initiative, helping over 200 families access vital supplies. The resilience and hope exhibited by the families they serve inspires the staff to continue their challenging work. Jubilee REACH actively seeks volunteers and donations to sustain its impact in the Bellevue community.
