A (Brief) Farewell to Al Fresco Dining - City BDA Seeking Feedback for Next Year

As the summer season draws to a close and cooler temperatures approach, Bellevue's Al Fresco expanded outdoor dining program will conclude on September 19, 2021. The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is actively seeking community feedback to enhance and sustain the outdoor dining experience for the next year. Notably, last year's survey revealed that 80% of visitors expressed a higher likelihood of returning to Main Street due to the outdoor dining arrangements. Patrick Bannon, President of the BDA, commended the local community for their robust support, stating that the program has significantly aided restaurants and local businesses during pandemic recovery. The article highlights various dining options available, including on-street and cozy patios, as well as restaurants with scenic views. The BDA created a weekly #AlFrescoFriday blog series to promote over 50 local eateries participating in the initiative. With the program's success, the BDA aims to gather insights from the public to ensure its continuation and improvement in the next season. Interested patrons can engage through a short survey linked in the article.
