Bellevue Jazz Blues Music Series Returns in Person for 2021

The Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series is returning for its 14th annual event from October 6-10, 2021, featuring over 20 live performances by regional talent across Downtown Bellevue. The lineup includes renowned artists like Ray Vega, Thomas Marriott, Roy McCurdy, and Lady A, who will perform at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre and other local venues. The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is eager to bring back in-person shows to support local musicians after a difficult year marked by the pandemic. To prioritize safety, attendees must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry, and masks will be mandatory for indoor audiences. The series will also feature a Student Showcase on October 10, highlighting emerging talent from local high schools and middle schools. In addition to the performances, local restaurants will participate by hosting live music events, encouraging dining and music enjoyment in a vibrant community atmosphere. This initiative is supported by major sponsors including Amazon, the City of Bellevue, and Microsoft, as well as media partner 425 Magazine. For more information on the event, attendees can visit the Bellevue Downtown Association's website and follow them on social media.
