New Expanded BellHop Hours

Bellevue's free all-electric transportation service, BellHop, has announced its expanded operating hours, enhancing accessibility for both residents and visitors. The new schedule operates from Monday through Sunday, providing more options for commuters and tourists alike. Since its launch in August 2023, BellHop has successfully provided over 123,000 rides, covering more than 113,407 miles and preventing 59.46 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. This collaborative initiative, involving partners like Circuit, Visit Bellevue, Amazon, and the City of Bellevue, reflects the community's commitment to sustainable transportation. BellHop serves as a crucial last-mile solution, connecting users to key local attractions such as the Bellevue Botanical Garden and Meydenbauer Bay Park. The service's electric fleet has proven particularly valuable during major events, helping to alleviate traffic congestion through efficient ride pooling. Executive Director Brad Jones emphasized the importance of BellHop's extended hours in promoting eco-friendly transportation choices.
