BellHop Your Free Ride to Explore Bellevue

Bellevue has introduced BellHop, a free, electric shuttle service designed to transform local transportation. In partnership with Circuit, Amazon, and the City of Bellevue, BellHop offers an environmentally friendly way for residents and visitors to access popular destinations. The service is easily accessible via the Circuit app, allowing users to request rides within a six-mile area, which includes attractions like the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and Meydenbauer Bay Park. With operating hours that cater to both weekdays and weekends, BellHop ensures that users can travel at their convenience. The initiative is funded through hotel room taxes and partnerships, ensuring no burden on local taxpayers. Riders can expect wait times of up to 10 minutes, as drivers pick up multiple passengers. Furthermore, the service is committed to sustainability, utilizing low-speed electric vehicles that are fully street legal. BellHop not only enhances mobility in Bellevue but also fosters a sense of community by connecting riders with shared experiences.
