Ring in The Year of the Snake at The Bellevue Collection

The Bellevue Collection invites the community to celebrate the Year of the Snake during its annual Lunar New Year Celebration on January 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bellevue Square. This vibrant event will feature live performances, including a Lion and Dragon Parade, alongside hands-on activities for families to enjoy. The venue will be beautifully decorated in red and gold, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity, with displays of traditional attire and cherry blossom trees creating an immersive experience. Attendees can engage in live music, dance, and martial arts performances throughout the day, while arts and crafts tables will teach techniques like Chinese calligraphy and traditional knot tying. Additionally, augmented reality photo booths will be available for unique photo opportunities to commemorate the occasion. Jennifer Leavitt, senior vice president of marketing for The Bellevue Collection, emphasizes the event's role in fostering cultural experiences and community diversity. The celebration is made possible through collaborations with the Seattle Chinese Culture and Arts Association and The Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
