Transportation Committee Members Bellevue Downtown Association

The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is currently updating its Transportation Committee meeting structure, indicating a commitment to enhance local transportation planning. The committee's critical focus areas include the Mobility Implementation Plan, which aims to integrate transportation strategies with Bellevue's land use policies. Additionally, the Curbside Management Plan is being developed to address increasing demands for curb space from various uses. The I-405 South Downtown Access Study, in partnership with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), is exploring access improvements with state funding implications. The committee is also advocating for investments in the I-405 Master Plan to support Sound Transit's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. Membership in the committee provides access to essential meetings, policy updates, and resource materials, fostering community engagement. Regular updates and feedback opportunities are available to committee members, ensuring active participation in transportation initiatives. Interested members can reach out to BDA Policy Director Matt Jack to join and contribute to these vital discussions.
