The Bellevue Botanical Garden will host its 12th Annual Arts in the Garden event from August 26-28, bringing together 24 local artists to showcase their 3D garden art in a beautiful outdoor setting. This free event, which includes live music and food trucks, is designed to make art accessible to the public while allowing guests to see how the artwork can enhance their own gardens. Darcy McInnis, the communications manager at the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, explained how the event has grown since its inception in 2010, with last year's record attendance of 9,000 visitors. The garden has also seen an increase in annual visitors, now reaching around 400,000, thanks to its diverse programming and welcoming atmosphere. The Arts in the Garden event not only highlights local talent across various mediums, including glass, ceramic, and concrete, but also serves as a platform for community engagement. Visitors from near and far flock to the garden, which is rated as the top attraction in Bellevue on TripAdvisor. The event's free entry removes financial barriers, making it an inviting experience for everyone.
