The task force will embark on a two-day journey to California, where they will receive detailed assignments based on the evolving situation. They are prepared to fight the fires for a total of 18 days, with all personnel being wildland certified and equipped with their Red Card. Additionally, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources will send 35 firefighters and 10 engines to further support firefighting efforts. This collaboration underscores the commitment of firefighting teams to assist during critical incidents, showcasing a spirit of solidarity in the face of natural disasters. The proactive response from Washington's fire agencies highlights their readiness and dedication to protect lives and property in times of crisis.
