The Show Must Go On Resonance Events Continues to Support Local Artists

Resonance Events, situated in SOMA Towers, has taken significant steps to support local artists amidst stringent COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings. General Manager Kristopher Jenkins highlighted the venue's prior success in hosting live performances, which has now shifted to an online framework to adapt to the pandemic's challenges. The venue has transformed its space into a broadcast studio, equipped with advanced technology to produce high-quality multimedia content for various streaming platforms. This innovative approach not only provides entertainment but also allows local musicians to maintain a connection with their audiences. In partnership with the Bellevue Downtown Association, Resonance Events has initiated new series like the Bellevue Summer Music and the Bellevue Jazz & Blues series, aiming to generate revenue for artists. Jenkins is optimistic about the launch of a subscription-based content platform, designed to function similarly to Netflix for music lovers, which will further enhance artist visibility and income. He stressed the importance of supporting musicians during this critical time, as their contributions are essential to the community's cultural fabric. Overall, Resonance Events demonstrates a proactive approach to sustaining local arts and fostering community spirit during unprecedented times.
